OMG Pig Disection

Oh My God we have started our pig disection in biology class today. It is so gross!!! I normaly don't care about blood or guts. But when you see a shriveled pig fetus infromt of you and the indian teacher tells you to identify its sex and cut it open. You tend to be more or less apprehensive about it. My partner who was more squimish than me before the lab began did all of the touching while I sat and watched trying not to look away. I was not nausious but Icould almost not bear the sight of the teacher placeing our pig Pablo on his back spreading his legas out and squishing him down to make him flat was almost to much. I have watched and even helped my dad skin and cut the meat off of a deer, you would think a small pig would not bother me. but when the pig wasn't even born yet and is shrivled and the purpose of cutting it open is only to study and not for food just seems wrong even though I understand why this lab would be good to help teach us, it seems like a more fitting procedure for some who wants to become a surgeon or a some kind of doctor. Perhaps if the pig was not a fetus or it had died of more natural causes I would be a little less apprehensive about working with it.

Yay! I got a new baby! This is my new project horse Yonder Star a.k.a. Orion. He is a five year old gelding just off the track two weeks ago from this picture. isn't he beautiful?! The only real racehorse habit he developed is not wanting to stop, but he is not head shy and he lets not just brush him but vacuum him to. He is awesome! Unfortunately he is body sore so I can't ride him for a few months. I have high hopes for this one!

Enhglish Project

Heyy please don't worry that i have a Picture of Ted bundy the serial killer as my profile picture. It's there for a reason, I'm doing a multi genre english project and he is my topic. It's there because I'm makeing a blog in the voice of Ted Bundy as if he came back from the dead, when the project is over I will put up my new profile pic.

Victory at Last!

WOO YAA!! I'm so excited! About a month ago my aunt leased me a new horse. Leo is a Hanoverian about 16.1 hands, and fleabitten gray. He's so cute but he has a grupiness issue when you put the saddle on and tighten the girth. He looks like a grupmy old goat when he's mad. But he's an excellent jumperand good mover. Over spring vacation we took him down to a horse show in Gulf Port, Mississippi for five weeks. I flew down every weekend to show him while my trainer stayed down there to ride him while i wasn't there. My first weekend after only haveing him for about a month I took 6th place in the pre-childrens which is a 2'6'' class. While I showed my other horse in the Older Childrens 3' class. The second week I took 2 first place ribbons and they came with 2 glass cups. The next few weeks I was in the ribbons on him. Then the last weekend I had to do three trips around the course because it was a classic round. I did my courses then i had to wait around until everyone else finished their trips. They then had to count up the scores. I got first in all three of my trips, then I got Circuit Champion for the whole five weeks! I was stunned and my trainer was very happy. Along with my ribbons i got alot of prizes. I got a stainless steel thearmas, a lead shank, two more glass cups, and a pewter plate that said Circuit Champion! It was my first big win, and I will now start showing him in 3' classes.

Semester I finally ENDS!

WOO Ya semester one finally over and I can start all over again... ok school year half way over just finished the chemistry II fianl exam this morning and the history exam on Teusday. Now I have a clean slate and as long I keep up on homework and study I should be good for the rest of the year. I think. Umm... ya thats about it life continuesw to go on.
